Liathach Torridon - Scotland

A huge mountain formed by massive near horizontal strata at the head of Loch Torridon. Coming over the mountains from Shieldaig the view of this majestic mountain came into view and stopped me in my tracks. I found the ideal spot to set up my 5”x4” view camera and captured this one image. There is a serenity about this image which I treasure. I think tonally it is one of my finest images.
